It is never easy to follow your dreams, hell it is far more difficult to do so if you are a girl. It’s not something like one fine day I woke up, decided I want to travel & I started travelling. Like every girl, I faced my share of roadblocks…everyone raised questions and genuine concerns, family, relatives, society etc. But I realised what matters at the end of the day is how one overcomes these setbacks initiates doing what one actually wants to do rather than live a life the way others want of you. I had endless arguments & numerous fights with dad about it. However, I was adamant and somehow convinced my dad that his princess was going to be just fine; I made sure I would fly towards my dream :)
There are times when I wake up dreaming about different places I would love to be at. I see myself either sailing across the wide blue ocean with the fresh wind in my hair; there are times when I see myself walking around a magnificent palace in some deserted area living the life of a true princess. The adventurous side of me has even taken me trekking up treacherous and winding roads that go zigzagging all the way to the top… oh the thrill of it all, I can hardly stop myself !
Every corner of the world is on my bucket-list… Like my name, I want to explore that uniqueness across the globe. SOLO travelling is my favourite kind, ;) Yes! you heard it right, I love travelling SOLO.
BE BRAVE … & GO SOLO, that’s my motto! :)
HOW I DECIDED TO START BLOGGING ABOUT MY TRAVEL!
One of the evenings, I happened to meet few of my friends for coffee, We started discussing about random stuff about our lives, work etc.. we were deeply engaged in a conversation regarding travel and our varied interests in the same. The word travel got me hooked; I began to share my travel stories; some crazy plans I had for the near future about exploring different places and so on. Thrilled by my enthusiasm some of my friends suggested I should share my travel experience through a blog and may be my stories could help other common travelers, perhaps be a helpful guide to some first timers setting out on adventures to places I’ve already visited and happily explored so far. That’s when the idea of having my own Travel Blog came begin to take shape! I obviously laughed it off and didn’t think much about it at that moment :p

That night as I was lay down on my bed my thoughts drifted back to the discussion we had earlier that evening. I thought blogging might actually be a good idea. It would not only help me relive my cherished moments but also let people know how beautiful our globe is…through my view. Also, a lot of knowledge sharing can be done through social media platforms, where one can share insightful experiences as well as learn from those of others :)
This deep-rooted yearning has always been a part of my being, to travel and live life to the fullest. There are so many solo woman-travelers all over the world who explore exciting places, click pictures and share their wonderful stories through colourful blogs, I know cause I follow quite a few of them… So, instead of sitting in the corner of my room, following these travellers in their journey, reading their fascinating blogs & wishing I could explore places just like them I thought to myself, “Dude, if there is something you love... Then why follow others?? Just do it yourself!”
